This Privacy Policy describes how La Salsa Labs Inc (“The Company”, “We”, “Our”, or “Us”) collects, uses, and discloses information collected through the Website and mobile apps owned and operated by us that link to this Privacy Policy, such as the MailWatcher desktop application the MailWatcher mobile application, and the MailWatcher website mailwatcher.io/, and any other interactions (e.g., customer service and other communications) that you may have with MailWatcher (collectively, the “Services”).

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

• Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

• Mobile App refers to the MailWatcher Android App or the MailWatcher iOS App.

• Service refers to the Website or Mobile Application.
• Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
• Website refers to MailWatcher Web, accessible from https://mailwatcher.io/
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Email Data

Email Data is collected from the email service providers that you connect to your account. We may collect this data for as long as your account is active.

Email Data includes senders' names and email addresses, recipients' names and email addresses, subject lines, message content, and attachments. We may also collect additional data, like mail servers and message labels.

By connecting your MailWatcher account to a third-party email service, you agree to all applicable third-party sources’ terms and conditions and privacy policies.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:

• To provide You: with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
• To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
• For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

We do not share Email Data (whether provided by you manually or via an email service integration) with (1) other companies for joint marketing purposes; or (2) any third parties so they can market to you. • Service Providers: We may share information with select third parties who provide services to us, such as customer service, interfacing with Email Service Providers, analytics, website management, information technology, and other similar services.
• Email Service Providers: We may share information with the Email Service Providers to help establish or maintain an integration you have chosen to make.
• Other Users of this Service or the Public: To the extent that you post content in publicly-accessible parts of the Services (e.g., Features Request forum), or choose to make certain content or account information viewable by other users or the public, such content and information can be read, collected, and used by others with permission to view it.
• Comply with Laws and Protect Our Rights and the Rights of Others: We may disclose your information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate to: comply with applicable law and legal processes; respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; enforce our Terms of Service; protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
• Corporate Transactions: We reserve the right to transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.
• With Your Consent or At Your Direction: We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or if you have consented to additional sharing of your information (including as set out in this Privacy Policy).

Google Workspace API Compliance

MailWatcher uses Google APIs when you connect your Gmail mailbox to your MailWatcher account.

We are committed to protecting user data and ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy policies and regulations. As part of our commitment, we provide the following assurances regarding the use of data obtained through Google Workspace APIs:

• Non-use of Data for Generalized AI/ML Models: We explicitly affirm that data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. Our use of Google Workspace data strictly adheres to the policies and guidelines set forth by Google, ensuring that data is utilized solely for the intended purposes and within the approved use cases.
• Use for Personalized AI/ML Models: If our application employs AI/ML models, such use is limited to personalized models designed to enhance user-specific experiences and functionalities. These models are tailored to individual user interactions and do not contribute to generalized AI/ML training datasets.
• Data Transfer to Third-Party AI Tools: Our privacy policy clearly describes any Google user data that may be transferred to third-party AI tools. In all instances, we ensure that such transfers are not used for developing, improving, or training generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models. The transfer of data is conducted in a manner that maintains user privacy and complies with Google Workspace API user data policy requirements.
• Transparency and User Control: We maintain transparency with our users regarding the use of their data. Our privacy policy provides detailed information on how user data is handled, including any usage for AI/ML purposes. Users have control over their data and can access, manage, or delete their information in accordance with our data management policies.

Our use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Retention of Informatin

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and not for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information (as defined by the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from children under 13 years of age. If you believe that we might have any such information from a child, please contact us as described at the end of this Privacy Policy. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from children under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.

Your Choices

Marketing Communications. You may instruct us not to use your information to contact you by email, postal mail, or phone regarding products, services, promotions and special events that might appeal to your interests by contacting us using the information below. You can opt-out of receiving further promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the promotional email you receive or by emailing us directly at unsubscribe@mailwatcher.io with “OPT-OUT”, “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “STOP”, or “REMOVE” in the subject line.

Removing your name from the email list may take a reasonable amount of time. Please note that, regardless of your request, we may still use and share certain information as permitted by this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law. For example, you may not opt out of certain operational emails, such as those reflecting our relationship or transactions with you.

Notice to California Residents

California’s “Shine the Light” law gives California residents the right under certain circumstances to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of “personal information” (as defined in the Shine the Light law) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your “personal information” with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Notice to Nevada Residents

Certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined under Nevada law) to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident who has purchased or leased goods or services from us, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by contacting us at nevadarequests@mailwatcher.io. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our Services, or advances in technology. We will make the revised Privacy Policy accessible through use of the Services, so you should review the Privacy Policy periodically. You can know if the Privacy Policy has changed since the last time you reviewed it by checking the “Last Updated” date included at the beginning of the document.
